Call me Kimberly, Kim, Kimmy… I don’t really care as long as you call me!
I’m a proud born n’ raised Florida girl! I grew up in Orlando and attended Stetson University in Deland, Fl. I worked full time while completing a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance (double-major) and went on to get my Master’s in Accounting while taking on a Graduate Assistant position in the Career Services office.
After swearing up and down that I would not be a number in a cube at the Big 4, I immediately took a position with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Tampa. (C’mon, who actually denies the big 4?!) I absolutely loved the people I met through the firm, appreciated the doors it opened for me, and gained greater exposure to the accounting industry than sitting in a class ever taught me. There was just one thing missing; I wasn’t thrilled about what I was doing. Well, at Vaco I found the excitement I was looking for!
Vaco is the place where I can utilize my background in accounting while also nurturing both my competitive and social butterfly tendencies. Since 2012, I’ve been focused on top level accounting and finance talent, bridging a connection with clients to fulfill their organization’s needs while helping the candidate achieve his/her career development goals.
